Siggy Weber

Siggy was born in Giessen, Germany.  From 1982 to 1986, he worked and studied as a Broadcast Engineer at a local German radio and television company repairing broadcast equipment.  During the period 1987 to 1992, he studied in Berlin and completed his studies as an Electronics Engineer. In April 1993, he started working at AFN-Berlin as a Broadcast Engineer until the station closed in September 1994. He transferred and worked at HQ AFN-Europe from 1994 to 2003. In October 2003, he changed his duty station for the third time to start working with the AFN-Hessen team on Wiesbaden Army Air Field.

He has three children, ages 14, 11, and 6, and he’s also a member of the Romrod/Vogelsberg Volunteer Fire Department.
