SPC Cody Wilson
Cody was born in the city of Lawrence, Kansas. From an early age, he was a very creative person. His grandmother discovered his artistic ability one Sunday during church when Cody drew a picture of his grandfather. He was barely old enough to hold a pencil. As he grew, Cody became more creative, moving to other mediums. While other children wore “store-bought” costumes on Halloween, Cody made his. Once he reached high school, he was introduced to a very popular TV show called Jackass. Cody and his brother, Jesse often attempted to “recreate or reenact any stunts or activities” they saw on the show. He became an adrenaline junkie. Cody eventually found his favorite medium of creativity: a camera. Knowing that making amateur videos would never get him anywhere, Cody joined the Army and became a 25V, Visual Information Specialist. He now works as a Producer here at AFN Hessen. Cody’s family includes his Parents, Mike and Dawn, his brother, Jesse, his new sister-in-law, Ashley and his Grandparents, Don and Dianne Young.
